Runda, Kamonyi District - In a significant stride toward bridging the digital divide and promoting
youth employability, RUNDA Technical Secondary School (RUNDA TSS) has officially launched
Cohort 4 of its 6-month Digital Skills Training Programme. The initiative is designed to provide
hands-on training in essential digital competencies for young people who have completed general
education and are looking to enter the job market with confidence.
This comprehensive training is delivered under the broader national effort to enhance technical and
vocational skills among Rwandan youth. Backed by the Government of Rwanda through the
Rwanda TVET Board (RTB), the programme brings modern technology into the classroom and
focuses on practical, job-ready skills.
RUNDA TSS prides itself on delivering high-quality instruction through a team of professional and
experienced trainers. These instructors are not only skilled in ICT but are also equipped with the
pedagogical techniques to make complex digital concepts accessible to learners.
The training follows a competency-based curriculum and is structured around real-world
applications, ensuring learners are fully prepared for employment or further technical education.

This initiative is made possible through the strong support of the Government of Rwanda,
particularly via the Rwanda TVET Board (RTB), which provides oversight, training materials, and
capacity-building resources.
With the launch of Cohort 4, RUNDA TSS reaffirms its commitment to equipping youth with practical,
employable skills. As the digital economy continues to grow, the school is playing a crucial role in
ensuring that no young person is left behind.
